Senior Finance and Operations Manager – Listed Financial Institution recruitment
Our client is a HK listed company with principal business engaged in securities brokerage, investment management, banking and insurance sector, in support of the expanding business they are now inviting candidate with high caliber to join them for the following opening:
Senior Finance and Operations Manager
Report directly to the General Manager Head up the Operations Department which covers the following areas:
- Finance and Accounting
- Operations
- IT Administration and
- Risk and Credit Control.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance and accounting team to manage overall finance and accounting functions, including but not limited to financial and regulatory reporting, group consolidation, management analysis and reporting, budgeting cash management, business performance analysis, annual audit and taxation issues for Hong Kong business
- Manage and advise functional heads to monitor business operations in settlement, IT administration, credit and risk control areas
- Liaise with regulators, external and internal auditors when required
- Take lead in ad-hoc assignments as required
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above with professional qualification
- Holder or Qualified for SFC license type 1 and 4 highly desired
- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting operations experience gained from financial services industry, preferably with solid exposure to securities brokerage operations
- Good knowledge of international accounting standards and practices
- Strong leadership experience in managing multi-functions
- Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Immediate available is preferred
