Skills Experience supporting IT applications ideally financial, troubleshooting, user support, experience with 1st or 2nd line support of IT Applications. Experience of supporting a SQL Server data warehouse ( ETL, T-SQL, SSIS) and an understanding of trade support would be beneficial along with financial experience.
My client is a world renowned investment bank, they are looking to bring on board a strong Application Support Analyst who will be responsible for supporting a number of financial IT banking applications, they will be responsible for reporting on user activity, while also being encouraged to become more hands-on with the support and development side of the SQL Server Data warehouse (SSIS, ETL) They will be supporting a global network of users therefore will be expected to have carried out 1st and 2nd line support at some time and have knowledge of information technology framework, information security standards.
This client has been doing extremely well over the past couple of years and when a number of its rivals have been under-performing they have been going through a period of growth, they have won a number of awards and are highly recognized within the market place.
This is a marvelous opportunity for a application support analyst wanting to expand their skill set into Data warehouse development or wanting to pick up experience of supporting a number of new applications including trade monitoring, trade processing, regulatory reporting/reconciliation and various accounting systems.
