Senior Finance Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
Main Role:
Responsibilities of this position include oversight of the federal, state and local tax function of the Company, assisting with tax research and planning strategies, performing due diligence, and assisting with taxing authority examinations. Other responsibilities include maintaining compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 and ensuring compliance with all federal and state notices

Major Functions:
- Oversight responsibilities with regards to federal, state and local tax function of the Company
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual income tax provisions
- Assist with federal, state and local income tax examinations/inquiries
- Assist with income tax planning and exposure and risk management
- Perform tax research and documentation
- Business Acumen; problem solving; dealing with ambiguity; approachability; integrity and trust; ethics and values; planning; delegation; drive for results; developing direct reports and others; peer relationships; and communicating effectively
Candidate Requirements:
- 4 year Bachelors degree required, Accounting or Finance degree
- 5 years banking experience with at least 7-12 years of Big 4 accounting experience and 2-4 years of private accounting experience with a concentration in corporate tax and state taxation is required
- Must be proficient in FAS 109
- Partnership and bank taxation experience strongly preferred
