Due to expansion in Hong Kong, our client is seeking a suitably qualified finance candidate to take on a team member role in their Finance team in Hong Kong.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Financial Accounting, you should be responsible for the following:
- Ensure smooth-running of month end closing and full compliance with Hong Kong accounting standards and HKMA reporting requirements (including CAR, Interest Rate Risk, RMB, etc);
- Assist Head of Finance in overseeing the accounting, financial control, planning and finance operations;
- Review finance team's workflow to streamline process and enhance system for regulatory reporting.
- Provide effective, accurate and timely financial information and make pro-active recommendations to enhance the Bank's business.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects
Your Profile
You should be a Qualified Accountant with at least 8 - 12 years in banking industry. You should be strong in reviewing financial statements for head office reporting and HKMA returns for the regulator.
