I am currently recruiting for the role of Senior Finance Manager for my client based in Luxembourg. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a global brand from the front and be responsible for managing change and driving revenue to a recently acquired sector of my client’s business. In this role you will be responsible for writing business plans and launching many varied initiatives. You will also introduce the right financial controllership to ensure the results of the business are properly recorded and the assets of the business are protected.

In order to be considered for this role you must have a number of years experience in finance / accounting ideally in the digital or movie / music industry.

This role involves a number of important responsibilities including:

- Forecasting and reporting Profit/Loss;

- Business case analysis of new programs, deals, and acquisition proposals;

- Decision support analysis of underlying data to support negotiating of commercial terms of contractual / vendor relationships;

- Applying general business and financial analysis skills to ensure the success of the digital strategy;

- Supporting internal customer groups in all finance and accounting matters including budgeting, forecasting, expense tracking and control;

- Monitor cost-centre expenditures versus forecasts and budgets;

- Identifying and communicating issues to senior management;

- Establishing and maintaining operating and business metrics.

With a role of this nature the following person profile would be an ideal fit:

- Extensive experience in finance / accounting ideally in the digital / online /movie industry;

- Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving;

- Experience with Data Warehouse, COGNOS, SQL and Excel is a strong plus;

- Fluency in English – a second language would also be an advantage;

- Excellent analytical skills with a passion for metrics and figures;

- A “big picture” person who can also extrapolate the details;

- Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment whilst managing multiple projects;

- Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills;

- Ambitious, wants to succeed and be part of a great team.
