Senior Finance Manager - Surrey
A global Investment Management company based in Surrey are looking to recruit a Senior Finance Manager on a long term contract. This great new opportunity is available for an immediate start.
As Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining a new project to develop the finance reporting controls. You will assist with preparing the financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP and act as a key point of contact for the regulatory teams.
- In addition you will also be responsible for:
- Interrogate current systems and identify areas for development
- Liaise with finance managers to implement and maintain the project
- Oversee risk and contingency planning
- Prepare financial statements under IFRS and UKGAAP
Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience within Investment Management. Previous experience implementing and planning projects would be highly beneficial for this role. Strong financial reporting (IFRS and GAAP) knowledge and an understanding of FSA regulations would be desirable. Experience using Hyperion or JD Edwards would be advantageous.
