Senior Financial Accountant – Media / SAP recruitment
An International Media Production company is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their London base to provide accounting support and assistance with financial reporting, internal control and statutory and tax activities.
Essential Job Functions:
· Assist with Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
· Assist in preparation of ETB, Statutory Accounts, Tax Package and supporting information for Group and Statutory audit
· Preparation of quarterly VAT returns
· Liaise with Treasury and Tax - providing/obtaining information as required.
· Escalation point for AP related issues.
· Assist with Internal Control and Financial Policies enforcement.
· Preparation of monthly reporting
As the successful Accountant you will have experience with business enterprise resource system, SAP and
Entertainment/Media industry experience is preferred. You will also have the following :
·Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or international equivalent), with relevant post-qualified experience (at least 2 years).
· Excellent overall knowledge of requisitioning, purchasing, payments and accounting in an enterprise-wide business resource system.
· Solid experience and knowledge of US GAAP and UK GAAP
· Excellent technical and systems skills (including development of reporting templates etc.)
· Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building and communication skills.
· Demonstrated ability to dealing with multiple tasks and priorities.
· Understanding of internal controls and basic audit skills.
