Senior Financial Accountant – Shipping recruitment
Based in Singapore and reporting into the Regional Head of Finance, a range of responsibilities would include overseeing and controlling global accounting including the timely and accurate production of Ship Management finance accounts. This would also include being responsible for Ship Management statutory reporting and compliance issues including tax.
Together with colleagues in the UK and US, you would design and implement global accounting processes and controls; it is important to understand the ship management business and contribute value as part of the leadership team.
The successful candidates will be a qualified accountant (CPA or ACCA) with at least 8 years of experience, preferably commercial experience, in the shipping industry. They would also need to be a charismatic leader, more than capable of leading a team and influencing senior colleagues.
