Senior Financial Analyst

WKI Holding Company, Inc. (including its subsidiaries such as World Kitchen, LLC, collectively “World Kitchen”) manufactures and markets bakeware, dinnerware, kitchen and household tools, rangetop cookware and cutlery products sold under well-known and trusted brands including CorningWare®, Pyrex®, CORELLE®,  Snapware®, Revere®, EKCO®, Baker’s Secret®, Magnalite®, Chicago Cutlery®, and OLFA®.

World Kitchen employs approximately 2,700 people, and has major manufacturing and distribution operations in the United States, Canada, and Asia-Pacific regions. World Kitchen sells products through multiple channels, including mass merchants, department stores, specialty retailers and our own stores. 

Primary Responsibilities

On-going:

1.      Sales Finance support with accounting / month-end (15%):  Commissions, JE's, Balance Sheet reserve analysis, SGA reporting, EVA reporting

2.      Trade spending reporting (10%):  Tracking trade programs, under/overspend reporting, system reconciliation, support for trade review process

3.      Oversight and responsibility regarding utilization of barter credits (5%):  Responsibility for cross-functional discussions on utilization of credits for advertising, merchandising, trade shows, and meetings

4.      Monthly GM% Analytics and reporting (25%):  Detailed comparisons by Brand vs. Plan, PY, and Forecast.  Detailed mix analysis for each brand, highlighting key trends and opportunities for improvement.  Research and analytics related to other COS such as warranty expense, packaging and EO reserves, review of freight and variable distribution in conjunction with GSC finance, air-freight, and rework

5.      Customer Profitability (20%):  Data verification, analytics, and reporting; continued enhancements to system, reporting, and information in our BPC system

6.      Long-term GM% Improvement (25%):

a.      Pricing analytics related to 2013 Planning process

b.      Review of 2013 Sales and GM% budgets by brand and customer with recommendations on changes

c.       GM% review, analytics, and reporting related to annual plan and quarterly forecasting process

Short-term Project work:

1.      Brand Finance support for Snapware during June due to extended vacation by current

2.      Interim NA HH FPA responsibility while incumbent is on maternity leave from beginning of July to late September.  Responsibilities include:

a.      Project management of 6 + 6 Forecast process

b.      Financial statement reporting and analytics for P6, P7, and P8

c.       MDA reporting for Q2

d.      Gross Sales reporting for P7 and P8

e.      Management of the initial 2013 Gross Sales budget process

 

3.      Advertising and Product Development reporting improvements and analytics.

 
Required Qualifications:
BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
7+ years experience
Strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, and able to interact with various levels and functions of the organization.
