Senior Financial Analyst
This Sr. Financial Analyst - Retail Sales contributes to the success of PepsiCo, Inc. by participating in the development of financial plans and in conducting detailed analyses. Reporting into the Regional Finance organization, this professional will support Retail Sales by providing value-added reporting and developing ad-hoc analysis to aid in smart, fact based business decisions. This position is responsible for proactively monitoring trends and identifying business risks and opportunities.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Create Annual Quarterly Customer targets
- Responsible for forecast and analysis for Retail topline sales
- Partner with Retail Sales team to develop volume and margin growth strategies
- Partner with Revenue Management team on pricing and product mix optimization
- Lead contingency planning to deliver growth targets
- Support Sales organization for customer business reviews
- Contribute to national reporting analysis (brand, customer, region)
- Ensure customer PL accuracy/oversight on trade spend, pricing and funding
- Analyze key performance drivers, develop variance insights and make recommendations
- Educate Retail Sales on financial literacy
- Maintain (complex) Excel models and reports
Qualifications:
- BA/BS and MBA are required. Open to 2012 graduating MBA with appropriate previous finance experience.
- Minimum three to five years (3-5) previous finance experience; experience doing forecasting and variance analyses with sales/volume, and PL type reporting is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent financial modeling skills.
- Ability to lead projects and influence decision makers
- Must possess a flexible work style and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Should possess excellent communication skills and an ability to positively interact at all levels and across all functions.
- Career minded/focused, eager to learn, grow and develop throughout their career.
- This type of role requires a collaborative, team player who possesses a work hard and winning mentality.
- Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time.
