Senior Financial Analyst
The FPA Analyst contributes to the success of PepsiCo, Inc. by participating in the development of financial plans and in conducting detailed analyses. Reporting into the Regional Finance organization, this professional will support the Company by providing value-added reporting and developing ad-hoc analysis to aid in smart, fact based business decisions. This position is responsible for proactively monitoring trends and identifying business risks and opportunities.
Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Partner with functional leads to develop long term productivity and growth strategies; requires collaboration and influence skills
- Provide analytical support for Annual Operating Plan and Quarterly Business Plan calendar and processes across the region
- Provide accurate forecasting for categories which may include: volume, net revenue, cost of goods, marketing budgets, trade spending, etc.
- Identify and communicate the key "causes of change" (variances) versus the forecast
- Scorecard performance for assigned clients and categories
- Create regional strategic local market opportunity assessment
- Analyze key performance drivers, develop variance insights and lead thinking / drive execution on corrective actions
- Educate other PepsiCo Associates on financial metrics.
- Maintain (complex) Excel models and Plan/Forecast databases, as needed
- Support assigned clients with ad-hoc projects
- Work to create standardized, value-add reporting
Qualifications:
- BA/BS required and MBA preferred.
- Without MBA, minimum five to seven years (5-7) previous finance experience; experience doing forecasting and variance analyses with sales/volume, and PL type reporting is preferred.
- Strong analytical abilities and excellent financial modeling skills.
- Ability to lead projects and influence decision makers
- Must possess a flexible work style and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
- Should possess excellent communication skills and an ability to positively interact at all levels and across all functions.

- Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time.
