Senior Financial Analyst needed within Chase Auto Finance to support the Manufacturer Loan Lease business segment. This is a business segment within Chase Auto Finance created to meet the needs of auto manufacturers that have need for private label consumer credit programs. This position will report directly to the Business Unit CFO.
Responsibilities
The selected individual will assume ownership of the financial models used to track and forecast production volumes, operating revenues, direct expenses, and headcount. More specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
- Act as the Manufacturer finance group key point of contact and business partner to the Planning and Analysis group and will prepare and distribute all of the scheduled deliverables in a timely manner.
- Act as the Manufacturer finance group key point of contact for production and sales data. The individual will build an understanding of market trends and sales seasonality.
- Maintain the reporting necessary to understand and validate expense allocations from the various support functions. Perform analysis necessary to identify areas where staff support should be more efficient to ultimately reduce unit costs.
- Work closely with Financial Analysis Manager and Business Unit CFO to:
- Build an effective management reporting structure necessary to support the various functions within the business segment and meet all external reporting deadlines.
- Prepare materials for periodic business reviews with senior management and various business partners
- Determine how to continuously improve level of finance support provided to the business.
- Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in financial services industry, preferable auto lending.
- Ability to build and manage robust financial models using Microsoft Excel is a must.
- Proficient with Essbase and SAP.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, month end closings and variance analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time around a fast paced and volatile reporting cycle.
- Must be able to identify trends and draw conclusions from large data sets.
- Must be able to work effectively across department lines.
- Highly organized and systematic.
