Senior Financial Analyst – Financial Services recruitment

Docklands based Financial Services company is keen to speak with qualified Financial Analysts to join their growing team and supporting the CFO.

Main duties and responsibilities (in order of priority)

Partnering business managers in the Group responsible for significant incomes and expenditures – provision of that financial analysis, metrics and reporting to support their business objectives.

Prepare the Group annual Budget and Plan, including associate presentation media, documentation and financial analytics and metrics to support Management and Board endorsement and approval. Manage and maintain the schedule, processes and procedures around budget and plan preparation.

Prepare regular quarterly annual rolling forecast projections of Group income and expenditures, cash flows, treasury requirements and balance sheet in pro-active liaison with departmental managers. Presentation of resulting projections to management. Manage and maintain the schedule, processes and procedures around forecast preparation.

Prepare the Group corporate (balanced) scorecard report on a monthly/quarterly basis and actively support the lead in to the Management Team review of the scorecard and its continued content and presentational development. Manage and maintain the schedule, processes and procedures around scorecard preparation.

Support the Group project and product governance processes with  those financial analytics, metrics and other information required for new product/project approvals and the ongoing financial tracking and reporting of actual to projected incomes and expenditure then arising. Provide relevant financial information periodically required by those management groups responsible for reviewing new product and project performance.

Operate those financial models required in the business to ensure the business, and Finance, has a high knowledge base of its operating incomes and expenditures on a current and projected basis that can be used to model required changes arising in business requirements and support variance analysis of actual v projected financial performance.

Support the Group procurement policy and processes in respect of supplier selection, annual supplier review, financial terms and conditions, financial options [e.g. rent v buy] and other metrics.

Promote Finance department’s services to customers through the identification and provision of value added service needs, reporting requirements and in support of the department achieving its performance targets and objectives.

Work with the CFO as directed on ad hoc activities that may arise in the course of business.
