SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, of all financial statements and information needed in connection SEC filings, earnings releases, debt or equity offerings, etc.
- Assist Dana personnel at international locations with interpretations of U.S. GAAP requirements
- Assist with maintaining and updating the Company’s accounting policies
- Assist with performing and documenting technical accounting research
- Maintain the company’s restructuring reporting process and assist with providing required technical accounting guidance
- Assist Corporate Compensation and Benefits with equity compensation accounting and reporting
- Assist with accounting for the Company’s worldwide pension and postretirement plans, including coordination of actuarial valuations
- Maintain the Company’s weighted-average share calculation
- Work closely with Treasury to ensure proper accounting for the Company’s marketable securities
- Assist with the review of XBRL detail tagging
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting required
- CPA required, active designation required
- Public accounting experience required
- Minimum 4-5 years professional experience including public accounting and/or directly relevant industry experience with exposure to SEC financial reporting
- Thorough understanding of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and proficiency in related research tools
- Large multi-national organization/transactional experience preferred
- Strong work ethic, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good planning, organizational and project management skills required
- High level of integrity
- Hyperion/HFM experience preferred
- Working knowledge of XBRL preferred
