This position is responsible for supporting the Control Products and Solutions Segment (Group) of Rockwell Automation (RA). This position will work closely with Group, Business Unit, and RA Headquarters Finance personnel, and Department and Functional leaders within the Group.

Responsible for financial analysis and report preparation of actual results for the Group, and Group HQ Departments and Functions, with comparison to Prior Forecast, Plan and Prior Year.

Independently perform in-depth financial analyses and studies, and provide insights and recommendations to management. Produce monthly variance analysis and analytics for Group HQ Departments and Functions.

Support Business Unit and Group reporting and analysis by maintaining the centralized consolidation and reporting application, and coordinate various information gathering activities within the Group as assigned.

Process improve duties and activities over time. Lead and participate in cross functional project teams.

Coordinate Group function Forecast, Budget, and Annual Operating Plan. Backfill temporarily vacant positions in other Finance Functions within the Group.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Provide financial analysis, information, and interpretation to Group and Business Unit management.

Provide financial analysis, information, and interpretation to Group Department and Functional Leaders.

Maintain Group Departmental Consolidation and Reporting application.

Accumulation of the necessary information to perform meaningful analysis, and producing related monthly Group, Department, and Function variance analysis.

Process improve and streamline activities of the Group Finance function.

Coordination of information gathering activities for Group internal and RA Headquarters requests. E.g. GPT Spending, YE Schedules, AEIP changes, etc.

Preparation, coordination, and analysis of the Quarterly QPR for the Group and related Businesses. Preparation of QPR presentation and related schedules as required by RA Headquarters and Group Leaders.

Preparation, coordination, and analysis of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for the Group and related Businesses. Preparation of AOP presentation and related schedules required by RA Headquarters and Group Leaders.

Ability to backfill temporarily vacant finance positions within the Group, and balance with Group responsibilities as necessary.

BS or BA in Finance or Accounting, MBA and/or CPA desirable.

Minimum five years of finance and accounting with emphasis in financial analysis, management reporting and process improvements.

Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, SAP).
