Duties Responsibilities:
· Monthly Close (accruals, reclassifications, prepaids, etc.)
· Monthly Actuals Reporting (detailed variance explanations and documentation)
· Management Reporting (PL and capital reporting at cost center level, key initiatives tracking reporting)
· Financial Reporting (variance drivers, implications on forecast, presentation development)
· Financial Analysis (ad hoc analysis on forecast/trends, vendors, marketing spend, metrics, etc.)
· Forecast Annual Plan development (rigorous “bottoms up” financial modeling, and presentation development)
· Ad hoc projects (e.g. process improvement, metrics tracking reporting)
Skills Education Requirements:
· CPA a must
· Bachelors in accounting
· Minimum 5 years experience
· Strong knowledge of accounting principles, and experience in leading monthly book close
· Strong process orientation
· Experience with Microsoft Access a plus
· Exceptional Excel skills
· Knowledge of PowerPoint
· Experience with financial modeling
· Ability to thrive under tight time constraints, and evolving priorities (i.e. comfortable with fast paced and changing environment)
· Strong team player with ability to effectively communicate with team members at all level of the organization
· Exceptional acumen as it relates to financial reporting systems
· SAP experience a plus
