Senior Financial Analyst
Our Rockville, Maryland client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst who will: * Undertake financial analyses independently. Develops feasibility studies and business plans to support new lines of services * Design and build financial models including NPV analyses, IRR calculation cash flow models, and capital planning * Participate in the strategic planning process * Develop business cases in line with strategic vision of the organization * Undertake geo mapping exercises * Prepares financial analyses of decision alternatives by utilizing spreadsheets and undertaking extensive data mining across multiple systems * Provides management consulting services on the use and interpretation of analyses, reports, methodologies and source data to managers/leaders * Deliver formal presentations of analytic findings and recommendations to senior managers and leadership * Ad hoc and periodic reports for department, facility, and/or regional management * Work effectively with multiple departments and teams in a cooperative and collaborative manner Candidate must have: * Minimum Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred. * 5+ years of extensive financial analyses and data management experience (preferably in the healthcare industry) * Extensive experience with developing financial models, discounted cashflows, NPV IRR analysis and capital planning * Expert level MS EXCEL/ ACCESS/ SQL skills * Strong consulting, oral, written, presentation and facilitation skills * Ability to work in a complex team environment across multiple departments * Ability to work under minimum supervision and manage tight deadlines
