Senior Financial Analyst
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time

Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· We are looking for the right individual to augment our Finance department who is passionate and driven. This is a great opportunity to take the department to a new level in a rapidly growing company.
· This individual will require a strong background in financial planning, reporting and analysis, consolidations, SOX compliance, and system implementations.
· The position will necessitate excellent cross functional/business communication skills, strong initiative and great analytical skills.
· ERP system experience will be critical in addition to report writing and advanced Excel knowledge.
· Duties include complex data extractions and manipulations within various systems through the use of MS SQL, which culminate in the design and production of reports / metrics for internal and external use.
· This individual will act as an internal consultant to work across company departments to gather data and perform analysis.
· Leverage current systems and business knowledge to improve business processes.
· Create documentation on models and query logic.

Education and/or Experience
· Accounting, Finance and/or MIS degree required.
· CPA or MBA preferred.
· 5-10 years experience in a senior position with an emphasis on quantitative reasoning, statistical and analytical modeling.
· Experience sourcing data from various systems.
· Proven leadership and/or project management ability.
· 5-10 years experience in performing analysis using MS SQL preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Strong ad-hoc SQL query development skills required, working knowledge of relational databases, and experience with MS Reporting Services and or Crystal Reports.
· Strong Excel financial modeling skills, data mining, extraction, transformation validation testing.
· Management or support of financial system implementation projects including planning and technical coordination.
· Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and Financial reporting requirements.
· Motivated self starter with the ability to perform duties with little or no supervision.
