Position Description:
The Sr. Financial Analyst will act as a business partner to work with Operations to analyze and drive efforts for cost improvement. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followings:
* Analyze and forecast period cost and gross margin. Monitor and analyze variances of actuals vs forecast.
* Perform detailed gross margin analysis at device level and identify issues that have the biggest impact on margin. Work with Operations Management to drive and report on worldwide cost reduction plans and maintain best-in-class profitability.
* Consolidate worldwide Capex plan and track actual spending to ensure actuals are in-line with forecast. Analyze and validate Capex requirements.
* Perform scenario analyses of financial impact related to accounting and costing methodologies changes.
* Work with Cost Accounting to establishing standard costs for new part numbers and recommending standard costs changes for existing part numbers
* Perform inventory reconciliation on monthly basis
* Consolidate die availability report on weekly basis
* Act as liaison between Singapore Operations and US Finance team. Ensure accuracy of Singapore Operations budget.
* Update Sort, Assembly, Test costs in online cost tool as required.
* Manage detailed actual device level gross margin consolidation and report on a quarterly basis.
* Maintain satisfactory compliance and control for overhead allocation. Conduct annual VP survey of overhead allocation ratio
* Coordinate annual interlock meeting between Taiwan lab, MAPL lab and BU management
* Budget MSSB expenditure, headcount and Capex need
* Update quarterly operation VP package
* Work with cost accounting and MAPL to ensure accuracy of quarter end entries
* Update production database (sort, assembly, test, yield, etc.) on monthly basis
* Assist in the implementation of cost tool
* Perform adhoc analyses and special projects as required.

Qualifications:
BS Finance/Accounting/Relevant field with a minimum of 3+ years relevant work experience. Team player with positive attitude and good communication skills. Be able to work independently. Self driven, detail oriented, and fast learner. Experience with Oracle and Hyperion Essbase, or similar type of ERP/reporting tool. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office is a plus.
