Senior Financial Analyst Job in Scottsdale 85260, Arizona Us
Responsible for preparing the annual and quarterly budget for the organization. Performs financial modeling for business valuations within Go Daddy by providing detailed analysis and recommendations to optimize revenue and identify cost savings opportunities.
What does the job entail?
- Responsible for preparing the consolidated annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the organization
- Perform variance analysis explaining and interpreting impact of results against monthly, quarterly and yearly plan/forecast
- Collaborate with department leaders on budgeting/ headcount management
- Perform financial modeling for business valuations, international expansion, existing and new products, and competitor analysis
- Analyze company performance and identify cost savings opportunities as directed by supervisor
- Assist in preparation of business reviews and presentations to senior management
Do you have what it takes?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred
- CPA preferred, or CPA eligible
- Five (5)+ years work experience as a financial analyst or similar role focused on budgeting, reporting, and analysis
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly in Excel
- Greats Plains knowledge and experience strongly preferred
- Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills along with adept problem solving skills
- Must be a high energy, ambitious, self-starter with the ability to multi- task and effectively manage priorities
