Position Description
Senior Financial Analyst
Prestigous client is looking for a Sr. Financial Analsyt to join it's team. Qualified candidates must be well experienced in Financial Analysis and pricing within a consumer products manufacturing environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Partner with Global Marketing and Sales Planning to develop and conduct promotional analyses with recommendations on brand investment opportunities
* Prepare Segment / Brand operating plan PL's, scenario analyses and support the annual planning process
* Prepare monthly Segment / Brand forecast PL's and provide variance rationale and commentary
* Conduct financial analyses on product pricing decisions and promotional cost estimates
* Provide guidance and support to Marketing on the Brand Advertising and Promotion budget and forecast process
* Support monthly Corporate reporting requirements with VEMP and working capital analyses and commentary
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
* BS Degree in Finance or Accounting
* Hyperion and Global experience a must
* Minimum 4 - 6 years financial planning / analysis experience; preferably in a Brand Marketing, New Product or Sales support role
* Strongly prefer experience in consumer packaged goods companies
