Position Overview:

The role will directly report to the Head of Finance Elektron Realtime Solutions Enterprise Platform supporting multiple areas within the SBU, providing decision support for business planning, performance analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The hired candidate will have the opportunity to work directly with SBU business leads, supporting new business opportunities and solving problems.

Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Preparing Budgets, quarterly forecasting, and monthly EWR for each area supported
• Performance reporting for products and initiatives
• Preparation of monthly business unit commentary and supporting schedules
• Monthly headcount, TE, and operating cost analysis
• Manage monthly close for over 400 staff across several development business teams
• Oversee accruals made by account services
• Track changes in allocated costs, reporting drivers of change
• Manage reporting of Cost of Goods sold for 3rd party partners
• Present business unit performance to budget owners
• Pursue areas of process and quality improvement
• Creation of capital asset plans and IDs
• Capital management and forecasting using Clarity
• Support creation of corporate reporting and analysis
• Adhoc business support and analysis

Skills

Education:

• Bachelors Degree in Finance or related disciplines

Required Skills:

• Previous minimum 3 years experience in a support role providing financial oversight business partners.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience working with business partners to create and deliver financial reporting
• Proactive problem solving and leadership skills, charisma, drive, and ability to ability to remain focussed to principle objectives. .
• Excellent communication skills.
Desirable
• Previous experience establishing financial plan and processes.
• Ability to work in a matrix organisation and liaise across divisions and business units effectively.
