Senior Financial Controller (Real Estate) recruitment
A well-recognised European Real Estate Investment Manager is currently looking to recruit a Senior Financial Controller for the London based office. The business invests across a diverse portfolio of office, retail and industrial asset both in the UK and Europe and is currently looking to take on a Senior Financial Controller who will be responsible for a wide variety of duties within the accountancy department.
This Senior Financial Controller role will be responsible for the preparation of quarterly consolidated fund accounts, preparation of the UKGAAP statutory accounts and management of the audit process at yearend. You will be directly responsible for reviewing the monthly financial information produced by a team of four qualified accountants and review the current accounting process and find ways to improve efficiencies and procedures within the system. This Senior Financial Controller role will also be responsible for the preparation of quarterly board reports, dealing with the banks on financing, refinancing and loan compliance.
To successfully apply for the Senior Financial Controller (Real Estate) role you will need to be ACA / ACCA or CIMA Qualified with experience of working within the Real Estate marketplace either for an investment manager, a property developer or property manager. You will need to have managed staff in the past, ideally held relationships with banks, and be able to deal with investors on a regular basis.
