Senior Financial Operations Manager recruitment
This role will support the Financial Director and the wider financial team in achieving process improvements, systems development and implementation with a particular focus on the entire Credit control department. This is a leadership role within the Firm and finance team and is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Finance professional.
Responsibilities
- Management of processes improvements and related controls across the Credit control function.
- Management of WIP, Accounts Receivable, Credit and Collections, Financial reporting, Billing, MIS, Performance, Sales Customer Analysis.
- Development of appropriate KPI’s across the firm to measure efficiency of WIP and Accounts receivable function.
- Management of all projects that have an impact on relevant operational efficiencies.
- Considerable involvements in a new systems implementation ensuring maximum reporting benefits are derived.
- Working closely with partners and senior managers fostering credibility and influence towards developing a reputation of Operational Excellence across the firm.
- Ad hoc projects, as directed in relation to developing internal operating models, making process improvements etc.
- Manage and motivate a team, ensuring sufficient stretch and career development is offered.
Skills/Experience
- Candidates will preferably hold an ACA qualification; have top tier firm experience with a span of 5 – 10 years PQE.
- Experience at a senior level within a financial operations role, ideally directly supporting a CFO or an FD.
- Demonstrable excellent people management skills
- Experience of leading a complex credit control function is highly desirable.
- Excellent process and systems development / implementation background.
- Proven Analytical / Influencing / Reconciliation Skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiating/influencing skills
- Evidence of effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Flexible, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast paced and changeable environment
