Senior Financial reporting Manager recruitment
My client is a diversified financial services company providing banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, and consumer and commercial finance. They are currently looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to join their existing finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial control development and integration projects to support merger related systems integration and EMEA branch and legal entity expansion plans
- Represent EMEA finance at EMEA New Initiatives Committee; identify finance impacts and co-ordinate finance action plan to address in timely manner
- Management of daily, monthly quarterly financial control processes within the EMEA region.
- In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
Requirements:
- Ideally you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience within a financial services firm essential (ideally with both banking and investment firm experience).
- Strong understanding of vanilla financial services products, related accounting flows, funding processes and FX exposure management
- Experience in implementing financial accounting and control processes across new business initiatives within an established infrastructure
- Good project management skills
