Senior Fixed Income Fund Manager recruitment
This is a high profile role for a senior individual, with the opportunity to enhance and grow the existing fixed income product suite, and to share in the rewards of doing so. Ideally my client is looking for proven portfolio managers with a demonstrable track record in running UK Corporate Bond and/ or Strategic Bond funds but wider (global) credit experience will be considered. You will be managing money and a small team from the outset and will be offered the platform to build a brand franchise within the retail market. As such, it is vital that the successful candidate recognises the significance of investor communication which is required to properly service the retail market. They recognise the significance that experience will bring to the role and so in turn, they are open to individual investment philosophies and processes which will add value and enhance their overall proposition.
The broad candidate requirements are:
• Minimum 2:1 Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) in Maths/ Finance / Economics / Accounting or other relevant discipline
• Ideally CFA qualified or working towards it
• Fundamental fixed income research and portfolio management background with reputable asset management houses
• Strong analytical skills
• A high degree of self motivation, energy and a meticulous approach are essential requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Independence and motivation and an ability to perform under pressure
This is a hands on and dynamic role; in return, my client is prepared to offer a competitive salary, performance related bonus, potentially revenue share for the right individual and if key objectives are met, ultimately an equity stake in what is already a very successful business
