Senior Fixed Income Performance Analyst recruitment
We currently seek a Senior Fixed Income Performance Analyst for our client; a highly respected investment management firm in the City of London.
The senior fixed income performance analyst will undertake regular analysis of fixed income, derivatives and LDI performance calculation and attribution. The senior fixed income performance analyst will:
-Project work, mostly fixed income attribution, benchmark calculation, derivatives and overlay reporting
-Act as technical expert within the performance analysis team for fixed income and derivative mandates
-Ensure appropriate controls and procedures are in place for all functions within the team and supporting documentation is up to date
-Ensure production and analysis of both manually and system generated monthly performance and attribution calculations, mainly fixed income, liability driven investment and derivatives
-Continually seek to understand and satisfy our clients (whether internal or external) requirements
-Develop processes, procedures and systems to support these requirements
-Assist with any new developments/ projects to improve efficiency/productivity and raise the profile of the performance team
-Provide an efficient and cost effective service to internal external clients and management
The successful senior fixed income performance analyst will possess the following skills and experience:
-Performance and fixed income attribution and thorough understanding of derivatives
-Experience in a large asset management firm
-Experience of fixed income attribution
-Strong performance experience
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Organised and structured approach
-Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to work effectively, both individually and within a team
-Highly numerate with good attention to detail
The ideal senior fixed income performance analyst will posses experience of analysing funds holding derivative instruments, and previous experience closely supporting front office teams.
