- Reports into the Head of Fixed Income Portfolio Management
Fixed income generalist in charge of managing discretionary bond portfolios
- Management responsibilities may involve both Credit and Emerging Market portfolios as well as high-quality Rates portfolios
- Client facing activities include preparation of and participation in pitches as well as reporting to some of the bank’s largest clients
Key Objectives
- Manage various fixed income strategies for private clients (mostly USD reference currencies)
- Grow assets under management
- Contribute to the team’s market strategy, with focus on Emerging Markets
- Develop the fixed income product offering with new strategies
Candidate requirements
- At least 8 years of relevant experience, preferably in an asset management environment
- Investment experience in Credit or Emerging Markets a must
- Professional qualification (CFA) desirable
- Successful performance track record and strong analytical skills
- Very good presentation skills; must be very comfortable representing the bank vis-à-vis key clients
- Excellent English, written and spoken; second fluent language necessary (either French, German or Spanish)
- Willingness to travel
- Team orientation essential
