£60k - £75k + Benefits + Bonus
Harrington Starr is working with a Financial Software Vendor to find a Senior Flex Developer to work on the User Interface development of a market changing Derivatives and Swaps product.
As the Senior Flex Developer/Architect (Java, Adobe Flex, HTML, Agile, Graphics, LCDS) you will be working on a highly client facing project for one of the top global Tier 1 Investment Banks. You will need to liaise closely with the CTO and will be working in an agile 4 man development team. This contract has just been signed and so you will developing this product from scratch and will be able to follow it through the full life cycle of development. You will be using the latest version 4 of Adobe Flex and will need to integrate it with a Java back-end system.
This is a great opportunity to join a young exciting Financial Vendor and work on a new User Interface for a product that has the potential to change the way Swaps and Derivatives are traded. You will be able to quickly rise through the ranks of the firm and build a career by eventually becoming a Team Leader.
As the Senior Flex Developer (Java, Adobe Flex, HTML, Agile, Graphics, LCDS) you will need to have:
* Strong knowledge of Adobe Flex, ideally version 4 - Essential
* Experience working with a UX Designer or Graphical interfaces - Highly Beneficial
* Experience working with both Greenfield and large scale projects - Highly Beneficial
* Experience with LCDS or Blazeds - Beneficial
* Backend Java development experience - Beneficial
