Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analyst will support the business by creating, developing and interpreting complex financial analyses of financial and business performance vs. the annual operational plan, projections throughout the year and ad-hoc analysis and simulations, thus enabling decision making by senior management.

The jobholder will work as a business partner, provide support and challenge data integrity:

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Play a key role in the day-to-day actuals and forecast process, in areas such as:

- Forecast and Actuals vs relevant time periods (Plan, PY, PQ, etc.);

- Gross Profit Control: coordination between the major parties influencing the Gross Profit development - operations, logistics, SOIP, purchasing;

- Cash Flow analysis and Balance sheet understanding. Liaise with Accounting Treasury;

- Group Profit and Cash Flow Analyses;

- BU profitability and cost efficiencies in areas of the organization as needed;

- Banks and Covenants Analyses;

- Financial planning modeling;

- Financial Ratios;

- Restructuring projects consistency;

- Manufacturing performance (link Manufacturing organization to the PL);

- Special projects tracking;

2. Actively contribute to setting up the basis of the Financial Analysis process by participating in Setting up of quality profitability reporting by different business dimensions.

3. Actively contribute to establishing the Corporate HQ as center of expertise, training, and support for the subsidiary contacts.

Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

1. General Experience / Knowledge base:

- Education in Accounting, Business or Economics

- 7-10 years of experience in Finance in a Fortune 500 multinational. 5+ years experience as senior financial analyst (FPA, Business information), involved in financial analysis, operations analysis, financial reporting, and internal controls.

- Expert Level in Excel and in either SAP, Hyperion, COGNOS

- Knowledge of cost and financial accounting principles, practices and procedures.

- Knowledge of principles and techniques used in conducting management studies, system analyses and financial analyses.

- Knowledge of internal control systems and procedures.

- Experience in performing complex numerical calculations and preparing complex management reports on a timely basis.
