Senior France & Benelux Marketing Manager recruitment
Job Purpose: Working with the MDs of IG Markets France and Benelux to produce, analyse and deliver a coherent marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition for the IG Markets brand and retain current clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategy:
1.Work with the regional Managing Directors and Head of European sales to deliver the demand generation strategy. Be involved commercially provide innovative growth ideas on an on-going basis
2.Evaluate and query reporting produced by Insight team at least on a weekly basis to ensure effective marketing and support strategic planning
3.Management of the Sales Marketing Media budgets in excess of £3 million. On-going multi-channel budget reporting optimisation for ad spend ROI
4.Develop the annual marketing plans, in coordination with the local MD HQ (in London)
5.Manage the process to deliver on all marketing campaigns initiatives – web content, offers, sponsorships etc – drawing on central resource to facilitate
Implementation:
6.Responsible for working with the MD respective teams to plan implement the communications plans
7.Manage the relationships with external media agencies where required
8.Ensure media is purchased effectively – the candidate will need to demonstrate strong negotiation skills
9.Work with the European Marketing Coordinator Business Management team to plan deliver high quality and timely marketing campaigns, ensuring they are always on Brand suitable to the local markets
10.Work with the MD Insight Team to understand the consumer value proposition, and have a strong understanding of the competitive landscape to strengthen brand positioning, messaging, look feel etc
11.Management directly or supervises an international team of 5 marketing executives based in Paris, Luxembourg and Amsterdam
12.Keep the shared drive folder up to date with all Media Plans, Sales Marketing Budgets, Creatives, etc
13.Contribute to local European Sales Marketing meetings, and travel for meetings to the local offices if/when required
Person Specification:
Criteria
Experience
Essential
• Minimum 5 years marketing management experience
• Some experience or marketing within the financial sector is essential
Desirable
• Online brokerage understanding would be appreciated
Qualifications
Essential
• Degree qualified, preferably marketing orientated but if not, certainly a marketing post grad qualification
• Fluency in Business English
Desirable
• Dutch speaking is certainly a plus
Interpersonal Skills
Essential
• Experience in managing international marketing campaigns is required
Desirable
• Team working and flexible attitude in a dynamic environment is more than welcomed
