Senior Front Office Commodites Quant needed for Top Tier Investment Bank-NYC
Top Tier Investment Bank in NYC is urgently looking to add a Senior level Commodities Quant to their growing group.
This is a rapidly growing group and is actively looking to add an experienced Senior Level Quant to their Front Office Commodities team.
This team is very well established in the Commodities world and for the right candidate there is the potential to work and learn from some of the most experienced and Highly regarded Commodities Quants in the Industry.
Since this Position is at the Senior level, the right candidate will be reporting directly to the head of the group and will be working directly with the Traders on a daily basis, therefore excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
This group is rapidly growing and for the right candidate there is the potential to manage a team of 2-4 people.
Requirements-
- 2-7 years of experience in a Front Office Environment
- Ph.D in Physics, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, etc..
- Excellent communication Skills
- Programming skills in C++- a plus
- Experience working with Commodities Products - or extensive experience on another Asset class such as FX and Equity
- Modeling experience across various commodities (physicals and derivatives is ideal)
