Senior Functional Analyst recruitment
Liaise with technical team to ensure final solution meets requirements. Working with the global functional lead in defining a strategy for meeting business requirements with innovative solutions. The Strategic Asset Servicing Program at Citi is a multi-year program of work to replace multiple regional legacy systems with a global architecture. The program consists of a number of streams of work, each of which will require a dedicated functional analyst resource. Given the global nature of the program, requirements are expected to be complex and diverse. Strong individuals with relevant experience are required to enhance the existing team in London and work closely with the global team.
- Assist operations in defining their global operational target operating model.
- Working with the global functional lead in defining the strategy for meeting business requirements.
- Assist in implementing best practice processes within the team.
- Assist the business change group in eliciting well defined requirements from Operations end users and other stakeholders.
- Responsible for writing functional specifications for the design and/or development teams to work directly from.
- Working closely with the design and development teams to ensure technical solution meets requirements and functional solution.
- Working closely with test team to ensure test plans are well defined and fit for purpose.
- Supporting UAT to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.
- Assist in managing the change process throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentoring of junior BA's/functional analysts
Skills
Knowledge/Experience:
- Banking experience required (preference for Investment Banking experience)
- Business and functional analysis experience required
- Asset Servicing experience required
- Understanding of HCI
- Expert in Asset Servicing understanding event lifecycle, different event types and market nuances. A good understanding of issues that impact Asset Servicing processes.
- Understanding of SWIFT Standards and SMPG recommendations around Asset Servicing.
- Proven track record in defining target operating models and facilitating operational change.
- Proven track record of providing innovative solutions especially in relation to Asset Servicing.
- Experience working on a large, global program preferred.

- Structured functional documentation writing skills and experience required.
- Some technical skills.e.g. SQL preferred.
- Testing experience e.g. test tools, test cases preferred.
- UML skills and experience preferred.
- A good understanding of a wide range of approaches to business analysis
