Senior Fund Accountant – Real Estate Funds – German Speaking (M/F) Job in Luxembourg 1148
Our client is a Managing Company with several billions of assets (5000 employees in more than 50 offices wordwide) and, due to growth, it would like to recruit its new senior fund accounting specialized in Real Estate.
Your role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of funds and will manage all aspects of the accounting, reporting and administration of Real Estate structures.
- Preparation of financial statements, annual accounts and any other statutory (CSSF, BCL...) or client's reporting
- Bookkeeping
- Management of drawdowns and distributions
- Co-ordination with external parties (tax advisors, custodian banks, legal advisors, auditors)
- Assistance in preparing tax and VAT returns
- Cash transactions
- Assistance in corporate and secretarial services (BOD, AGM, EGM)
- Monitoring compliance of the structures
- Assisting with the carrying out of strategic policy set down by the company
- Maintenance of high quality operating standards, procedures and quality controls
Your technical skills
- University degree level in accounting / finance or equivalent
- Between 3 to 8 years in a similar position with hand-on experience in Soparfi/Fund accounting
- Fluency in German and English
- Experience in consolidation or IFRS is a plus

- Excellent communicate with external / internal clients
- Ability to work in a team, and autonomously to provide guidance and prioritization
