Senior Fund Accountant - Luxembourg - Fixed Term Contract
We are working closely with one of the largest asset managers in the world with their recruitment of a Senior Fund Accountant to their offices in Luxembourg.
You will be working in one of the worlds largest multinational corporations who has a presence in over 22 countries and is considered a leader in its field. This is an opportunity to work with an investment specialist who also appreciates an entrepreneurial spirit and who wants talented people to join them in their vision.
We are looking for talented fund accountants who have at least 3 years experience working with Mutual funds (or similar). Reporting to Senior Management your main responsibility will be to confirm the accuracy and sign off on the daily NAV's and work closely with other fund teams based in the UK and Luxembourg.
Experience Required:
- Degree in Accounting or Economics
- Minimum 3 years experience in fund accounting
- Excellent English language skills (verbal written)
- Good communication and organization skills
- Good PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel
- Experience working with Mutual Funds (desirable)
- Good level of French (desirable)
- Understanding of pooling fund structure (desirable)
- EU passport holder
NB Due to the nature of the this role there will be shift work with day end at 8.30pm 3-4 days per week. 18 month fixed term contract.
