Senior Fund Accountant – Private Equity recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Preparing quarterly private equity fund financial statements and account statements
- Preparing monthly management accounts for corporate entities
- Reviewing book-keeping postings in individual fund ledgers
- Preparing accounts for investment holding companies
- Coordinating and liaising with the firm's auditors, as well as other external auditors
- Dealing with ad hoc auditor and investor enquiries
- Dealing with other accounting matters as directed by others
Candidate requirements:
- Qualified accountant – ACA or ACCA or similar with minimum 2 years post qualified experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Private Equity fund accounting – either from an audit perspective or from within a private equity fund environment
- Motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills
- A team player with a flexible approach to working
- Good timekeeping skills are essential as you will often be working to tight deadlines
