Senior Fund Administrator recruitment
The Company:
Our Client is a leading Investment Management house based in the city who is currently looking for a Senior Fund Administrator.
The Role:
The role will provide Fund Administration services for the Groups funds and your key responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and checking the accuracy of the prices, data and reports provided by the administrator; liaising with the administrator on all issues relating to the production of accurate NAVs and fund accounting.
- Work with the TPA and Trustee's on NAV issues in order to minimise the number of breaches, pricing errors and risk. Assist with breach identification, reporting, resolution and rework.
- Provide effective support service and reporting for internal requirements for Listed Asset, Operations and Compliance. Reporting includes creations / liquidations; yields; TERs.
- Instruct Property related payments and accounting entries to TPA and Trustees.
- Review XD cost sheets and income forecasts, agree distributions with Fund Managers, Product and TPA.
- Ensure that queries are dealt with and resolved timely.
- Management of fund level Fair Value process with TPA regarding closed markets.
- Management of shareclass hedging process.
- Oversight of the cash management process - monitoring overdrawn cash balances, currency hedges and funding.
- Participate in service calls with the third-party administrators.
- Develop awareness and understanding of current industry and product trends, and best of best industry practices.
- Utilise IT and TPA systems efficiently including Excel where appropriate.
- Assist with Product changes such as fund closures, mergers, in-specie transfers and launches and work with TPA Change Control coordinator, Transitions and Project Managers.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Minimum of 5 years fund administration experience;
- Educated to degree level (pref 2:1 or equivalent in Economics, Finance, Accountancy or similar;
- Significant financial services experience, ideally of fund administration or accounting;
- Strong EXCEL (to macro) level; and
- Relevant industry qualification e.g.: IMC, IAQ.
