Senior Fund of Funds Analyst recruitment
The role involves the following:
• Work with portfolio management team in the evaluation and analysis of overall portfolio as well as individual positions
• Work with portfolio management in the quantitative and qualitative analysis of a broad variety of investments, including individual equities, bonds, options, and hedge funds
• Screen and participate in the due diligence of new investments based on larger macro themes as well as individual opportunities
• Research, analyze, and report on performance of existing and prospective hedge fund and other third party managers
• Participate and, when appropriate, lead due diligence meetings and manager conference calls, taking detailed notes in order to prepare prompt write-ups of manager meetings
• Monitor performance data from third party managers (e.g., hedge funds) on a regular basis
• Screen investment opportunities by examining investor materials, summarizing relevant information and producing preliminary evaluations for review
• Assist in the operational and valuation due diligence of potential and current hedge fund managers
• Undertake various quantitative studies on prospective and existing investments
• Prepare Monthly Manager Update Reports
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with an exceptional academic record required
• 4-7 years of financial industry experience
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Specific knowledge of fixed income, public/private equity, and/or hedge fund analysis and investment strategies a plus
• Excellent note-taking, written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Bright, detail-oriented, organized and highly motivated
• Excellent attention to detail
