Senior Fund Specialist
The Role
- Reviewing and understanding legal agreements/documentation governing the funds
- Interaction with Legal Advisors, Administrators and Custodians in reviewing and issuing comments on the draft governing documents
- Assume responsibility for the on-going operations of individual funds
- Monitor individual fund activities such as cash-flow, investments restrictions etc.
- Involvement in the annual audit process including review of financial statements and interaction with Auditors, Administrators Custodians
- Involvement in corporate governance matters relating to the funds environment
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years fund accounting/admin experience
- Highly numerate with strong attention to detail
- High degree of analytical and problem solving ability
- Ability to manage relationships and engage with multiple service providers
- Strong communication skills
- Experience of Sungard Invest One desirable
- Experience of various fund types including hedge funds, retail funds and QIF’s would be advantageous
- Ideally experienced in the entire fund valuation/fund accounting custody process.
