Senior Fundraiser- Private Placement Agent (a) recruitment
The role:
- Work with other members of the sales/fund raising team to market the business’ services and to proactively raise capital.
- Develop and maintain a strong client base consisting of institutional investors consisting of family offices, pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance firms, fund of funds, corporations and wealth management firms.
- Demonstrate to clients a strong knowledge of alternative investments.
- Identify new areas for business development and business reach.
- There will be an element of investor relations involved in so far as managing relationships and understanding client needs.
Skills/Experience:
- Can demonstrate with figures success in raising capital for hedge funds and/or private equity funds.
- Previous experience working with and developing relationships with institutional investors- an existing network would be beneficial.
- You must have worked for an asset manager/hedge fund/private equity firm in a sales role- candidates who have sold software/data/equity will not be able to be considered.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to fund raising.
