Excellent opportunity for a Senior Fundraiser - Private Equity for a well regarded Private Equity Asset Management firm in London - West End
Our client is an asset management firm that focuses on private equity and offers a wide range of products and services. The Firm is seeking a Director of Business Development to be based in London. Client account focus will be on Institutional clients; including Pensions, Consultants, Endowment, Foundations, Sovereign Wealth Funds, FoFs, and Family Offices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and managing new business development opportunities, in addition to growing existing customer relationships in the UK. He/she will be responsible for prospecting the target client base and representing the firms' comprehensive suite of investment opportunities with a key focus on the following funds:
- Clean Tech / Infrastructure
- Secondaries
- Direct Middle Market
- Co-Investments
Requirements:
• Candidate must have considerable Private Equity Distribution / Fund Marketing experience.
• Knowledge of / Marketing Energy and Infrastructure related Funds is ideal
• Extensive UK Institutional Client relationships: Public Private Pensions, Consultants, Insurance, Endowment, Foundations, Fund of Funds, Sovereign Wealth Funds, and Family Offices
• Candidate will possess a high level of oral and written communication skills
• Candidate will be enthusiastic, entrepreneurial, and able to work independently yet work comfortably as part of a global team
• Graduate of recognized university with business related degree in Finance, Accounting, Marketing or Economics. Candidates with MBA/CFA are a plus.
• Given client centric nature of role, may require travel up to 50% of the time
