Senior FX Sales Product Specialist recruitment

The Senior Foreign Exchange Product Specialist will assist both the private bank and broker side in the development of highly complex FX strategies for their respective clients. Clients include small corporates, high net worth individuals, smaller private equity and hedge funds.

Product Specialist will work directly with relationship managers from strategy to helping close and maintain client accounts.  The person will be assisting in the sales aspect of each relationship and will have a deep understanding of the complexities of various strategies needed to meet clients needs. Included will be the expectation of coming up with trading and derivative hedging strategies and presenting them to internal and external individuals.

The successful candidate will be an engaging, articulate knowledgeable FX specialist posessing a deep fundamental background in complex FX practices. The individual will obtain a strategic approach for each client and will be able to effectively communicate various procedures to all levels of internal and external figures. As this group is relatively small (6-7 people), the successful candidate must be able to think outside of the box and work within a rapidly growing environment.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10-15+ years total FX sales experience is required.

• Established network of relationships and proven ability to identify, pursue and develop new clients as well as deepen existing relationships. 

• A successful track record of  handling smaller private equity, corporate and/or high net worth individual clients. raising capital for real estate private funds, ideally for first time funds.

• Proven ability to identify, pursue and develop new clients, as well as deepen existing relationships.

• Exceptional relationships skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effectively work  and communicate with multiple constituencies, internally and externally over the long term.

• Out-going, collaborative, adaptable and inclusive in style with a well-developed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Conduct all standard servicing and risk managmeent plans and strategies as well as perform complex technical analyses and research as needed.

• High energy; organized, action oriented, and a pro-active self-starter.

• Highly adaptive skills in networking, influencing and negotiation.

Bachelors degree required, with an advanced degree strongly preferred.
