Senior FX Strategist – Emerging Markets (CEE) recruitment
The team is top ranked within Emerging Markets FX Strategy therefore this position will offer you an excellent opportunity to develop your career within this space. The key focus of the role will be to provide Macro/FX strategy for the capital markets division therefore previous sell side experience is desired.
The role will cover Global emerging Markets therefore you will be responsible for a large amount of currencies, however experience of Central Eastern European markets will be preferred and put you at a distinct advantage.
Your responsibilities will include:-
• Generating FX trade ideas across Central Eastern European Markets.
• Identify cross regional and cross asset opportunities
• Developing EM models (models to identify FX trades)
• Present views to key clients including real money, hedge funds and central banks
• Establish good relationships with global real money and hedge funds
Your role will be based on the trading floor and you will be an integral part of the global Currency business. The emerging markets and FX teams have been expanding heavily of late in line with the growing interest in local market opportunities from dedicated emerging market investors.
In order to apply for the role you should have previous experience carrying out the main duties of this role:-
Daily FX product, monthly on EM markets quarterly publications, client marketing, conference calls, country marketing, origination pitches and visits to central banks and finance ministries etc.
