Well established San Jose client is looking for a Senior General Ledger Manager. General Ledger Manager will be reporting to the Corporate Assistant Controller. This is a unique to be hands position in managing a team of three General Ledger Accountants. This is a contract to full time opportunity. Responsibilities: Assist the Assistant Controller in generating monthly and quarterly financial reports. Oversee monthly and quarterly financial statement consolidation and close process. Responsible for cash flow statement preparation, equity roll-forward, fixed assets roll-forward and review of the short term investment schedules. Compile quarterly non-GAAP financial statements. Prepare quarter review and year-end audit schedules and interface with outside auditors, coordinate audit procedures between external auditors and internal accounting team. Monitor and report on the close process to ensure timely and effective execution work with finance functions and international subsidiaries to drive timely submission of deliverables. Assist Assistant Controller with special/ad-hoc projects such as MA (due-diligence / integration), divestiture transaction, annual impairment analysis etc. and relevant technical accounting memos. Participate in the monthly and quarterly account analysis of selected balance sheet accounts and selected expense accounts for SEC. Support the external auditor's audit of Companys internal controls over financial reporting.

Bachelors or Masters in Accounting plus Certified Public Accountant. Public accounting experience (Big 4) is preferred Excellent project management skills ability to manage internal and external resources on projects lasting up to 12 months. Strong technical research and position paper writing skills. Excellent US GAAP knowledge Strong verbal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to work with all levels of management; i. Highly effective individual who can work independently while managing multiple project priorities. ii. Semi-conductor industry experience preferred Advanced Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) skills
