AMC Consultants is a leading mining consultancy, providing services exclusively to the minerals sector. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and have a number of interesting opportunities available.
Our Melbourne office is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with the following skills and qualifications:
Specialist skills required:
Experience in geotechnical data collection and analysis.
2-5 years operational experience in either open pit and/or underground mining environments.
Basic skills in mining and geotechnical software.
Sound interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work on remote sites.
Qualifications required:
Degree in geology, geological engineering or mining engineering.
Eligibility for membership of the AusIMM.
The salary packages offered will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
