Due to our business expansion, we are seeking high calibre and dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic and challenging environment as Senior GL Accountant.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform closing of the monthly accounts in timely and accurate manner.
- Generate and analyze monthly financial statements for the legal entity in Singapore.
- Liaise with external auditors for interim and annual audit purpose.
- Responsible for submission of corporate tax, ensure that tax are in compliance with rules/contracts, and evaluate potential implications.
- Consolidation of financial reports which included oversea accounting reports.
- Monitor and provide guideline to junior staffs.
- Analyze accounting report data.
- Hedge accounting knowledge is preferred.
- Other ad hoc duties as assigned by line manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or CAP would be added advantage.
- 8 to 10 years’ relevant experience in handling GL functions in Oil trading and supply business from the front-to-mid-to-back office best practices.
- Proficient in MS office product (Excel) and SAP system.
- Ability to communicate well with front, mid and back office. Listens attentively, seeks to understand others viewpoints, and tests for understanding.
- Experience in effective partnering with counter parties/operation/front office teams
- A self-motivated person with strong analytical skills and ability to adapt in fast-pace environment.
- Experience with enterprise Trading and Financial systems and ability to manage data in a multiple systems environment.
