Senior Global Macro Research Sales recruitment

Our client is an expanding Global Independent Research provider who has been servicing the investment community for several years. They provide macroeconomic analysis and investment advisory services to Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Central Banks and other financial institutions.

They are currently looking to further expand their distribution in the UK and Europe and are looking to add an established sales person to their team to develop business in this region.

As a Global Macro Research Sales person you will be responsible for selling independent investment advisory services, global economic analysis, global asset allocation ideas, economic forecasting and consultancy services to institutional clients in the UK and Europe. You will deal primarily with Chief Information Officers, Professional Portfolio Managers, Analysts and Market Data Professionals.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience of selling into the institutional space and have an excellent UK and ideally European client network. You must be capable of sourcing and developing new relationships as well as maintaining existing relationships with Portfolio Managers and Research Analysts. You should have a deep understanding of the extensive requirements of supporting an institutional client base and ideally have strong knowledge of how Commission Share Agreements work.

You should ideally have strong experience at selling Global Macro Research, if you have experience of selling cash equity research based product you will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for an established sales person to come in and put in place and implement a sales strategy for a strong research product that has so far been received within the buy-side community.
