Senior Graphic Designer - Denver CO

This position provides design and oversight to the work of other Graphic Designers (approximately 10-15%) in addition to performing the essential duties and responsibilities of a Graphic Designer (85-90%). This position works collaboratively with the marketing team to produce printed materials and actively participates in the development and design of training materials for patients and teammates that brand a common theme throughout the organization and industry. This position assists in the development of programs that are functional, intuitive, and simple while being visually pleasing and informative. Position is responsible for creating the visual design for marketing campaign collateral, supplemental teaching materials, and education programs. Provide creative direction, review, and design approval for materials developed by other teammates Conduct post-project reviews with team members to identify process inadequacies, analyze issues, suggest process improvement or other solutions to management, and integrate improved solutions as necessary Ensure all design is created within DaVita Inc. brand standards and layout is consistent, compelling, persuasive and speaks directly to audience needs and preferences Manage multiple assignments of strategic importance, working in a fast-paced environment with superior attention to detail to meet all deadlines Explore new technologies for potential application to improve workflow Create and design marketing collateral Manage all elements and stages of design projects from concept to final product and pre-press stage including hard copy and Intranet design Create, plan and produce graphics for marketing campaigns, new patient or employee educational programs, meetings/events, advertisements, promotional items, and other items as required Create brochures, posters, postcards, direct mailers and all other related collateral print materials in desktop publishing or original art and design Write, proofread and edit copy as necessary Prepare documents for final printing; oversee printing and approve press checks Establish deliverables schedule for each component of projects; communicate project status effectively to all individuals and departments involved with specific projects Ensure that all design aspects comply with the company graphic standards Obtain and maintain accurate documentation to ensure that project goals and development criteria are successfully met Provide effective customer support and assistance to solve complex and procedural issues related to projects Provide status reports to management and support staff at critical points during the life cycle of projects Ensure all external promotional and marketing items convey positive, appropriate and accurate company image Synthesize a diverse range of information to create clearly-defined positioning with design and effective message positioning Collaborate with marketing team on all projects to create and develop marketing strategies, implement plans, secure photography as necessary, and meet all project deadlines until final product is completed Create ongoing training and education material for use at the clinic level Assist in implementing the rollout of new product, new services, new materials Finalize and approve graphics related items for reproduction and/or printing on assigned projects Other duties or projects as assigned including but not limited to research, analysis, and presentations Light travel may be required Here is what you can expect when you join our Village: A "community first, company second" culture based on Core Values that really matter.
