About the Job
Digi International has an opening for a Senior Hardware Engineer at its facility in Lindon, Utah. This position is accountable for development and support of Digi radio frequency ("RF") manufacturing test hardware, software, and peripherals in a high volume manufacturing environment. Technology regularly used in this position includes: C, C++, 802.11, 802.15.4, ZigBee, OFDM, FSK, PSK, and ASK. Requires Master's degree or equiv. in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2 years exp. Must have exp. with 1) Developing test software in LabView utilizing C and C++: 2) Designing, developing, and testing RF products in a high volume manufacturing environment: 3) Working with wireless standards and modulation schema including at least 3 of the following 802.11, 802.15.4, ZigBee, OFDM, FSK, PSK, or ASK: and 4) Designing and developing circuit and PCB for test hardware. All experience may have been gained concurrently and employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience as described above.
