Senior Hedge Fund Developer / Business Analyst recruitment
Hedge fund solutions consulting group looking for senior developer/business analyst to help develop, support, and enhance a suite of critical financial applications for its clients. Other responsibilities include consulting with clients to help define, implement, test, debug, document, and maintain new and existing custom hedge fund solutions.
Required Technology Skills:
• Experience working with clients to gather requirements, design/develop solutions, provide application support, and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Expert with SQL Server complex queries, advanced stored procs, SSIS, database design skills.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheet design, formulas, and features.
• Experience using Excel and VBA to create automated tools and reporting solutions.
• Experience with VB.NET, Windows Forms, .NET Framework is also a plus.
• Must have proven ability to learn complex financial and programming topics.
Strongly Desired Business Skills:
• Hedge fund or financial services background highly desirable.
• Knowledge of or experience with financial concepts related to stock market, trading concepts, financial instruments, accounting.
• Experience with financial/accounting applications; Advent Geneva highly desirable.
• Experience with financial data: Bloomberg, IDC, Markit/LoanX, Thomson Reuters/FirstCall.
• Must possess excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication skills, excellent verbal and written skills, team player.

• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
